In a cold country a window is asked to hold warmth in. Here it is asked to do the opposite — keep the afternoon out of the room so the air conditioning stops fighting the glass all day. Two parts of the window settle that: a polyamide thermal break that interrupts the path heat takes through the metal, and a coated unit that turns solar energy back at the outer pane. Which coating belongs on which wall is a question about the elevation, not about the window.
For a terrace that becomes part of the cooled house: the leaves run on stainless carriages, the thermal break keeps the heat out, and the opening stays wide.

The whole elevation folds into a stack at one side, so a living room opens fully onto the garden in the cooler months and closes against the heat in summer.

Hinged doors and windows for an air-conditioned majlis or pool house: easy to air on a mild evening, sealed on three contours the rest of the time. Needs room to open.

A slim profile for a terrace or pergola that is not cooled: the leaves run in tracks and take no room when open, and the space is shielded from wind, dust and sand.

For a large covered terrace or a pool enclosure that is not air-conditioned: hinged leaves close it against wind and sand and open fully on a calm day.

The honest downside
The coatings that turn solar heat back also take some daylight with them. A strong solar-control unit makes a room dimmer and can tint the view, and on a north wall or under a deep overhang, going further than the code minimum buys little. Metal-oxide coatings can also weaken the mobile signal indoors.
Appearance is the other limit. A pane that reads dark or mirrored from outside may not be allowed by a tower's or a community's facade rules, so the strongest glass may not be on the table.
If the frames are sound, already have a thermal break and the heat comes through one elevation, a solar-control film or new units on that wall alone is often the more sensible spend. A full energy-efficient window is the right answer where the frames have no thermal break, the seals have gone and several walls are taking the sun.
