The series takes the same wide set of opening types as COR 60, in a deeper section. We fabricate Cortizo profiles to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Ground floors, townhouses and villas
Burglar resistance RC2 (WK2) is the reason to consider COR 70 Industrial for ground-floor windows and garden doors, where a window can be reached from outside. The class covers the whole window with the matching hardware and glass, so we build the window in that configuration, not the profile alone.
With a semi-visible sash, part of the sash sits behind the frame, so the window shows less aluminium from inside while remaining a full casement.
What Uw from 0.76 W/m²K and 6–63 mm glazing mean here
Uw from 0.76 W/m²K starts lower than COR 60, which is published from 1.0 W/m²K, and that helps in west-facing rooms that are cooled all afternoon. The glazing range of 6–63 mm can take a laminated security pane, a solar-control coating and an acoustic interlayer in one unit, and sashes can weigh up to 160 kg.
COR 70 between COR 60 and COR 80
COR 60 is slimmer at 60 / 68 mm and publishes sound reduction up to 48 dB (Rw). COR 80 Industrial goes deeper, 80 / 88 mm, with Uw from 0.71 W/m²K and glazing of 16–73 mm. COR 70 Industrial is the middle step, and the one of the three published with a burglar-resistance class.
COR 70 Industrial is the Cortizo casement to specify when security and insulation both count.
