Glass unit replacement
Condensation between the panes is not dirt and will not clean off — it means the perimeter seal of the sealed unit has let go and the cavity is breathing. The frame, the hardware and the coating are usually untouched, so the job is a unit swap rather than a new window. We measure the opening on site, remake the unit to the same build in our Dubai factory and refit it into the profile that is already on the wall. This is a service for the windows we manufactured and installed.

The structures we make and the installation our crews carry out are covered by one warranty under one contract. The profile system also carries the manufacturer's warranty — up to 20 years, depending on the system.

Warranty cases are handled by the same crews that did the installation: send the address and photos, and in most cases we can say before the visit whether it is an adjustment, a gasket or a glass unit.

The honest downside
When a new glass unit is the wrong fix
Not every complaint about a window is the glass. Air moving along the edge of a shut sash, fine dust on the inside sill after a sandstorm or traffic louder than it used to be all point at the gaskets, and water on the sill is usually drainage; a new unit changes none of them.
A swap also assumes the rest of the window is worth keeping. If the frame has twisted or its corners have opened, a fresh unit goes into a window that will keep letting in dust and noise, and the money is better spent on the frame first.
When the complaint is draughts, dust or noise at the sash edge, seal replacement is the job that actually answers it. A new unit is the right fix when the glass is misted or cracked and the frame, hardware and seals around it are still sound.

Frequently asked questions
No. The moisture is inside the sealed cavity with glass on both sides of it, so nothing applied to either face ever reaches it, and the drill-and-vent trick sold online finishes off whatever is left of the seal. Misting is the end of that unit's life as a sealed unit. What it is not is the end of the window: the frame, the hardware and the finish carry on, and only the glass package is exchanged.
Survey first, date after it — the glass is made to order and the build sets the pace. A plain double unit is quick. A unit with a solar-control coating, a laminated pane or an awkward size is slower, because it has to be scheduled into a coating or lamination run. Because the units come out of our own Dubai factory there is no import wait, and the date arrives with the quotation rather than after you have accepted it.
Often, and this is the sensible moment. If the original unit went in without solar control and the window faces west, the replacement can carry a solar-control coating instead; a bedroom over a main road can take a laminated inner pane for the noise. The limit is the profile — the frame has a fixed glazing rebate, so the new unit must suit the depth the system was built around. We check that against your actual frame at the survey before offering anything.
