Garden rooms
A garden room stands on its own at the far end of the plot — a study, a gym, a quiet place to read — built from aluminium and glass instead of block work. Because it is detached, everything it needs has to be planned into it: its own cooling, its own power route, its own defence against blown sand and irrigation spray. What you get in return is a room that looks out at the garden from three sides.

We produce
Curtain walls, structural and semi-structural glazing, ventilated and cassette facades. The system carries its own weight and the wind load of a tall building, and the glass line stays unbroken across the elevation.
Canopies, balustrades, railings and pool fencing, where glass is carried by an aluminium or steel frame. The load goes through the metal, the glass stays transparent.
Frameless glazing, spider systems, skylights and roof lanterns — everything built so the frame disappears and only the glass is read.
Office and glass partitions, sliding and smart-glass systems. They divide a floor without walls: light passes through, noise does not.
Glazed structures with a fire-resistance rating for escape routes and openings between fire compartments.

The honest downside
Before you build a garden room
A detached room carries everything on its own. Power and cooling have to be run across the garden, the split unit serves a small glazed box that faces the sun on three sides, and in summer every visit starts with a walk from the house in the heat.
It also lives in the garden's weather: irrigation spray spotting the glass, sand drifting against the base, and a structure to lock and maintain that nobody passes during the day.
If the room is meant to be used every day, a conservatory joined to the villa shares its services, its security and its cooled corridor, and is reached without going outside. A garden room is the right choice when distance is the point — a study, a gym or a quiet room away from the house.

In two layers. The glass and the roof do the first half: solar-control units on the sun-facing sides, an insulated roof rather than a glazed one, and shading where the afternoon light lands. A split unit then handles what is left, and it can be sized sensibly because the load has already been cut — a glazed box with clear glass and a thin roof needs an oversized machine running constantly.
It needs a level, drained slab it can be bolted to — not a deep foundation in most cases. We look at the ground during the survey and draw the fixing detail before anything is made, because a base that ponds water after the irrigation cycle will eventually find its way to the floor junction.
Screens run on the opening sashes, so the room can be left open in the evening without the garden coming in. At the bottom the frame sits above the finished level with a sealed junction, and we ask the landscaper to turn sprinkler heads away from the glass — mineral spotting from irrigation water is difficult to polish out.
A bolted aluminium structure can be taken apart and reassembled, which matters on a leasehold plot. Extending is a new drawing rather than a new building: built in the same profile family, a later bay matches the first one instead of announcing itself.
