The idea is to keep as little aluminium as possible between the room and the view. We fabricate Cortizo profiles to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Views from living rooms and terraces
COR Vision is chosen for the room where the glass is the wall: a living room facing the sea or the golf course, a bedroom opening onto a pool. With the frame hidden in the floor, walls and ceiling, the visible line is the 20 mm junction where two sashes meet. Pocket and corner versions let the glass slide into a wall or turn a corner without a post.
What its figures mean in UAE sun
The glazing range is narrow, 26–30 mm, which fits a double-glazed unit with a solar-control coating. That is what a sun-facing glass wall needs first, but it leaves no room for thick laminated acoustic glass or triple glazing. Uw is published from 1.3 W/m²K.
A hidden frame also hides the track. The drained sill and access for cleaning the running gear are planned before the floor is finished, because sand in the channel is what wears a slider.
COR Vision next to COR Vision Plus and 4900 Sliding HI
COR Vision Plus is the larger version: sashes up to 4000 × 4000 mm, 400 kg manual or 700 kg motorised, a 25 mm junction, glazing of 36–56 mm and Uw from 0.9 W/m²K. 4900 Sliding HI has a visible 35 mm junction and takes glazing of 24–36 mm. COR Vision sits in between, with the narrowest junction of the three.
COR Vision suits large sliding glass where the view matters more than a thick glass build-up.
