Privacy notice

This page describes what happens to the details you type into a form on this website. It is written from what the site actually does, not from a template, so it is short. If anything here does not match your experience, tell us and we will correct the page.

Ask about your data

Aluminum Windows UAE is a brand of Slide Alum Rs Technical Services L.L.C S.O.C, commercial licence No. 1600133 issued by Dubai Economy and Tourism, based at The Pinnacle Building, Sheikh Zayed Road, Office 607, Al Barsha First, Dubai. The company is responsible for the data you leave on this website. This notice covers the website only; what happens after you sign a contract is governed by the contract itself.

What the forms ask for

Every request form on this site asks for a name and a phone number; the calculator also sends the options you choose in it. Nothing else is required. There is no account to create, no password to set and no payment taken anywhere on this site.

The consent checkbox next to the send button is what it says it is: without it the form does not submit. Ticking it means you agree that we may contact you about the request you just made.

Where the request goes

When you press send, the form delivers your request over an encrypted connection to the company's customer database (Bitrix24), where the sales team sees it. It carries what you typed — name and phone number — together with the page you sent it from, the heading of the form and, if you used the calculator, the options you picked. The screen then shows a request number.

To know which page or advertisement brought you to the site, the request also carries the address of the first page you opened in this visit, the website you came from (the site name only) and, when the link contained them, campaign labels such as utm_source, gclid, gbraid or wbraid. The site keeps them in your browser only while the tab is open. The Google tag (see below) also keeps the Google ad click identifier in a cookie for up to 90 days, so the request still carries it if you come back later. The labels are saved with the request in the customer database and are not used to identify you.

If the online delivery is not available, the form offers WhatsApp instead: a message with the same fields is prepared for the company number, +971 50 220 6913, and reaches us only when you press Send in WhatsApp.

Cookies and measurement

Every page loads the Google tag (gtag.js) of the company's Google Ads account. It loads for every visitor straight away, without waiting for consent; there is no cookie banner on this site. The tag sets cookies on this site's address: _gcl_au on your first visit and, if you arrived by clicking a Google ad, _gcl_aw or _gcl_gb, which hold the ad click identifier for up to 90 days. Google may also use its own cookies on Google's domains, under Google's policy.

What goes to Google: the pages you visit; the fact that a request form was sent, with our request number (like AW-123456) and the phone hash described below; and clicks on WhatsApp links and on phone numbers. The purpose is to see which Google ads bring requests.

When you send a request, your browser turns the phone number from it into a one-way SHA-256 hash, and only that hash goes to Google, to match the request with an ad click. Your name is not sent to Google. The hash is used only to measure which ads bring requests.

To stop it, use an ad or tracker blocker, or turn off JavaScript for this site: that keeps the tag from loading at all. Blocking cookies only stops the ad click identifier being stored; the visits, clicks and the phone hash are still sent. Google's My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com) controls ad personalisation, not this measurement.

The site's own code sets no cookies. It keeps two small technical values in your browser's session storage — whether online delivery is available and the labels of the current visit described above — and both disappear when the tab is closed.

Every page also loads Google Tag Manager (container GTM-PV6JKL8L): a container through which the company can add measurement tags without changing the site's code. At the time of writing it holds no tags. Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica and Meta Pixel are not switched on. If a tag is added to the container or switched on here, this notice will say so.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the showroom map is a Google Maps window that loads when you scroll close to it, so Google's servers see the requests your browser makes for them. Apart from these and the Google tag, no other external service is contacted.

How long we keep it

A request is kept until you withdraw your consent, and no longer than three years after our last conversation. If the request becomes an order, the order record is kept while the warranty applies and for as long as commercial and tax records have to exist.

A WhatsApp conversation stays in the company account until it is deleted.

Asking us to delete or correct it

Write to the WhatsApp number above or call the office and ask. Say which phone number the request came from, so we can find it. We will remove the enquiry and confirm when it is done.

You can also ask what we hold about you. The answer, for almost everyone, is a name, a phone number, a short description of an opening and the visit labels described above — and nothing else.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to windowrepair.ae and mosquitonetdubai.ae, which are run by the same group but are separate websites with their own notices. This page does not cover them.

The short version: a name and a phone number, delivered to our customer database when you press send (or through WhatsApp if that is unavailable), kept until you withdraw consent and no longer than three years after our last conversation. Google gets page visits, clicks on WhatsApp and phone links, the request number and a one-way hash of the phone number — only to see which ads bring requests.

Frequently asked questions

For a quotation, yes — a written estimate needs somewhere to go and glazing prices depend on the actual opening, so a conversation is unavoidable. If you only want to understand what something involves, the article pages answer that without any form.

Not by itself. But the site does carry one advertising tag: the Google tag of our Google Ads account. We use it only to see which Google ads bring requests. Its cookies are set on this site's address; Google may also use its own cookies on Google's domains, under Google's policy. There is no Meta Pixel or any other advertising pixel. To stop it, use an ad or tracker blocker or turn off JavaScript for this site; blocking cookies alone does not stop the measurement.

The sales team that handles enquiries and, if a survey is booked, the engineer who visits. Installation partners receive the address and the opening details, not your correspondence.

Yes. Message the company WhatsApp number or call the office, mention the phone number you used, and we will delete the enquiry and confirm it.

We are always happy to welcome you at our showroom
