Where EURO-DESIGN 70 fits
Apartments and townhouses with ordinary window sizes: bedrooms, children's rooms, studies and kitchens, plus the balcony door in the same profile. Tilt-and-turn suits UAE flats well: the tilt airs a room at night through a narrow gap that lets little dust in, and the turn brings the whole sash inside for cleaning.
What the figures mean in UAE sun and noise
Five chambers in a 70 mm section give the frame several air pockets between outside and inside, which helps against both heat and sound. The UV-resistant formulation matters here more than in Europe: sun is what ages a plastic profile, and a frame on a south or west wall takes it all day.
Uw up to 1.3 W/m²K and up to Rw 44 dB are the manufacturer's figures for the window. Both depend on the glass, and with a 41 mm maximum pane the system fits a double-glazed unit with unequal panes and a laminated leaf, the usual answer to road noise.
EURO-DESIGN 70 or ARTEVO
ARTEVO is the 80 mm glass-fibre reinforced system: panes up to 56 mm, or 72 mm with the flush sash, Uw as low as 0.61 W/(m²K) and up to Rw 48 dB. It is the choice for bigger openings and harder noise. EURO-DESIGN 70 covers the ordinary flat with less profile and less cost in the frame.
