Panorama Design is about making the frame recede, and on ASS 77 PD.HI the vents are moved by motors, so their weight stops being the user's problem. We fabricate Schüco profiles to the manufacturer's specification at our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Where ASS 77 PD.HI fits
Glass walls where the view is the point: a penthouse over the Marina or the Palm, a villa living room facing the sea, a hotel suite onto a private terrace. The interlock, from 37 mm, is the only vertical line crossing the view when the doors are closed, and with vents up to 3200 mm wide a run needs fewer of them. TipTronic drives move vents of up to 500 kg at the touch of a button — heavy glass without heavy handling.
The figures that matter in the UAE
Uw from 1 W/(m²·K) is a whole-window value, lower than both ASE 60 and ASS 50, and it is what a south- or west-facing glass wall needs to keep the room cool into the evening. Glazing up to 60 mm allows solar-control, laminated and acoustic layers in one unit; on a sea-facing tower that often means all three.
An electric drive also means an electrical system: power supply, controls and service access are planned with the builder. At height, the wind load on large vents is part of the structural calculation for the elevation, done before the vent sizes are fixed.
ASS 77 PD.HI or ASE 60
ASE 60 does much of the same job by hand: vents up to 3500 mm wide and high and up to 500 kg, Uw from 1.1 W/(m²·K), an interlock from 40 mm. It has no motor to maintain and does not depend on power. ASS 77 PD.HI gives the slimmer meeting line, better insulation and effortless operation of heavy vents, at a higher price and with an electrical system to look after.
ASS 77 PD.HI is the Schüco slider for glass walls where the frame should step back and the vents are too heavy to push comfortably by hand.
