Where SC115 fits
Living rooms opening onto a terrace, wide balcony doors in a tower, sliding windows in an office: SC115 covers panels up to 3 m in both directions. The monorail with curtain wall integration lets a sliding door sit inside a glazed facade without a separate frame system, which is useful on podium levels and roof terraces of towers.
What the figures mean in the UAE
Wind class C5/B5 is at the top of the wind scale, and air permeability class C4 under EN 12207 keeps cooled air in and fine dust out. The published watertightness E800 means the door stayed tight in the test up to 800 Pa.
Glass up to 42 mm takes solar-control, laminated and acoustic layers. The thermal value of the finished door with your glass is confirmed by calculation before the order. On high floors the panel size is checked against the wind-load calculation for the elevation.
SC115 or GLS 125
GLS 125 is the lift-and-slide system with a 125 mm frame and a 52.5 mm sash: the same panel size up to 3000 × 3000 mm, but up to 400 kg per panel and watertightness 1050 Pa. Choose GLS 125 for very heavy glass and the most exposed terraces; SC115 where 200 kg panels are enough and a curtain wall connection matters.
SC115 is the all-round GUTMANN slider for panels up to 3000 × 3000 mm and 200 kg, with top wind class and an option to sit inside a curtain wall.
