In AluK's Middle East range C67K sits next to the larger C77K and the outward-opening 62TTE. We fabricate AluK profiles to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Where C67K fits in a UAE home
The series is drawn for sashes that open into the room: side-hung, tilt-and-turn, bottom-hung vents and fanlights above or below a main sash. Tilt-and-turn is the practical one in an air-conditioned home, because the sash can stand tilted for a short airing without swinging over the sill.
With sashes up to 1300 mm wide and 2500 mm tall, C67K also covers the tall, narrow openings that are common in villa living rooms and stairwells.
What its figures mean in heat, dust and salt air
The glazing range of 24–62 mm comes first here. It leaves room for a double-glazed unit with a solar-control coating on a west elevation, a laminated acoustic build-up next to a busy road, or a thicker unit where both are needed. The sash weight limit of 150 kg is what makes the heavier laminated units practical.
Air permeability is published as class 4. That is the figure to look at when a shamal presses fine dust against a closed sash, and it holds only if the gaskets are compressed evenly, which is why every sash is adjusted after installation. Near the coast the finish is chosen for salt air separately from the profile.
C67K, C77K or 62TTE
C77K is the larger sibling: sashes up to 1500 × 2600 mm, glazing up to 62 mm and published Uw values of 1.19 W/m²K with double glazing and 0.88 W/m²K with triple glazing. 62TTE opens outward instead and takes thinner glazing, 20–26 mm. C67K sits between them for inward-opening sashes of ordinary size, with the insulation level chosen per project.
C67K is a sound choice for inward-opening and tilt-and-turn windows of normal size where the glass build-up changes from room to room.
