Because the sash opens outward, nothing swings over the sill, the curtains or the worktop. We fabricate AluK profiles to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Homes, hotels and shops
The manufacturer draws 62TTE for homes, hotels and shops, and that matches how it is used here. In a hotel room the outward sash leaves the space under the window free for furniture; in a kitchen it clears the worktop and the tap; in a shop a top-hung vent lets air in above the display. Fixed lights in the same section let one elevation mix opening and fixed glass.
What the figures say
The AWW classification is 4 / A8 / C3 for air, water and wind: air permeability class 4, watertightness class A8 and wind resistance class C3. The frame is published at Uf 4 W/m²K; that value describes the profile, not the whole window, so the heat gain through the glass still depends on the unit you choose. The glazing range is 20–26 mm, enough for a standard double-glazed unit with a solar-control coating.
An outward sash takes the wind directly. On lower floors and sheltered elevations that is not a concern; on a tower the wind load is calculated for the height before the sash size is fixed.
62TTE next to C67K and C77K
The inward-opening siblings take much thicker glass: C67K from 24 to 62 mm, C77K up to 62 mm with published Uw values of 1.19 and 0.88 W/m²K. 62TTE trades that glazing range for an outward opening, so it is chosen for the way a room is used rather than for insulation figures.
62TTE is the AluK window for rooms where the sash has to stay outside.
