White doors
White is the coolest thing you can put on a door standing in direct sun: it reflects most of what lands on it, so the leaf runs far closer to air temperature than any dark shade will. The trade is visibility — a film of desert dust and the grey bloom around a tired sealant joint both announce themselves on white first. Living with that is a matter of choosing the right white and the right sheen, not of giving up the colour.

Why choose aluminium windows?
-
Durable EPDM seals
Three contours of EPDM seals keep the glass off the aluminium and close the gap between sash and frame, so dust, humid salt air and wind-driven rain stay outside.

Foamed thermal inserts
Foamed inserts fill the profile chambers and stop air circulating inside them, so less outside heat and street noise passes through the frame into the cooled room.

Polyamide thermal breaks
Glass-filled polyamide thermal breaks up to 40 mm wide keep the outer and inner shells apart, so the frame holds its shape and its insulation through a UAE summer.

Energy-efficient double glazing
Double glazing up to 60 mm thick puts a sealed gap of still air or gas between the hot street and the cooled room, so less heat crosses the glass into the room.

The honest downside
Where white is harder to keep
White shows the climate first. The fine beige dust that settles between cleans, the grey bloom around a tired sealant joint and hand marks on an entrance leaf all appear on white before any other finish, and near the coast salt and dust together mean washing more often.
The shade needs care as well. A cool white can read grey against beige stone and a warm white can look soiled against white render, and gloss shows sand scratching sooner, so matt is the practical sheen.
For a leaf that is handled constantly, or stands where dust settles faster than anyone cleans, a mid grey hides that film far better. White remains the right choice on a door standing in direct sun, where it stays closest to air temperature and keeps the handle and the reveal comfortable.
