An entrance door works harder than any window: it opens many times a day, carries a lock, and takes the weather on one face and the air conditioning on the other. We fabricate Schüco profiles to the manufacturer's specification at our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Where ADS 70.HI fits
Front doors of villas and townhouses, the entrance of a low-rise residential building, a clinic or an office — doors of ordinary height with one leaf or a pair. Leaves up to 2500 mm high and 1250 mm wide cover the usual entrance. Opening outward suits lobbies where the space inside is tight or where an escape route calls for it; opening inward suits a villa door under a canopy.
Heat and sun on an aluminium door
Uf from 1.7 W/(m²·K) is the frame figure of a thermally insulated door: the insulating zone in the section keeps the inner face much closer to room temperature while the outer face takes the sun. For a door facing west, the finish colour matters as much as the section — a pale finish stays cooler and moves less.
Glazing up to 52 mm allows laminated safety glass with a solar-control coating in the leaf, which brings light into the hall without turning it into a hot spot. Leaves up to 150 kg keep that glass in one piece on a full-height door.
ADS 70.HI or AD UP 75
AD UP 75 is the heavier-duty sibling: a 75 mm basic depth, Uf from 1.4 W/(m²·K), leaves up to 3000 mm high, 1400 mm wide and 200 kg, and a barrier-free zero-level threshold option. It is built for heavily used commercial doors. ADS 70.HI is sized for most residential entrances and publishes glazing up to 52 mm for a glazed leaf.
ADS 70.HI covers the typical villa or small-building entrance with a thermally insulated leaf; when the door gets taller, heavier or much busier, AD UP 75 takes over.
