Multi-point locking pulls the leaf onto its gaskets along the whole height, which matters for dust as much as for how firmly the door closes. We fabricate AluK profiles to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Balcony and garden doors
A single leaf up to 900 mm wide is the size of a normal balcony or garden door. The height of up to 2600 mm suits the tall ceilings of villas, so the door can line up with floor-to-ceiling windows beside it. Opening inward keeps the leaf out of the wind on a balcony; opening outward saves room inside.
What the Uw figures mean for a door used every day
AluK publishes Uw from 1.93 W/m²K with double glazing and from 1.56 W/m²K with triple glazing. For a balcony door the practical point is the seal when it is shut: with the leaf locked at several points the gaskets stay compressed, so the cooled room does not draw in hot air and fine sand around the edges.
The glazing range of 18–47 mm takes a solar-control double-glazed unit, with laminated glass on the inside where the pane reaches the floor.
70TT or D77
D77 is the heavier AluK door system: hinges rated for 180 kg, glazing of 24–52 mm, single- and double-leaf versions, emergency-exit variants and low or automatic thresholds. 70TT is lighter, with leaves up to 120 kg, and fits residential doors where those features are not needed.
70TT is a straightforward AluK door for balconies and garden exits of normal width.
