GWD 080 is offered in the UAE by Gutmann Middle East LLC, Dubai Investment Park 2. We fabricate it at our Dubai factory to the manufacturer's specification and install it with our own crews.
For tall entrances and wide double doors
A villa entrance with a double-height hall, a majlis door onto the garden, a showroom or clinic entrance: openings up to 3 m high are what GWD 080 is built for. Identical surface-mounted and barrel hinges for inward and outward doors, in aluminium or stainless steel, let one system cover every door of a project in the same look. Leaves can be fully glazed or take an infill panel that covers the leaf frame.
Built for sun and wind
The profiles are multi-chamber and symmetrical to counter the bimetal effect, the bowing of a leaf that is hot outside and cool inside. Winglet insulators form the thermal break. Glass up to 60 mm leaves room for solar-control, laminated and acoustic layers in one unit.
Watertightness 1200 Pa, wind class C4/B4 and air permeability class 4 are published for the series. RC 2 burglar resistance is stated for one- and two-leaf doors with the panic function, which suits offices and shops with an exit route.
GWD 080 or GWD 070
GWD 070 is the 70 mm door with glass up to 55 mm in the leaf and burglar resistance up to RC 3 / WK 3, but without published maximum sizes. GWD 080 is the choice for big openings, because its sizes are published; GWD 070 for standard doors where RC 3 counts for more.
GWD 080 is the GUTMANN door for large villa and commercial entrances up to 3000 × 3000 mm that need thick glass and a panic option.
