Some doors open a few times a day, others all day long; AD UP 75 is designed for the second kind. We fabricate Schüco profiles to the manufacturer's specification at our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Where AD UP 75 fits
Entrances with constant traffic: the lobby of a residential tower, a clinic, a school, a showroom, an office floor. The leaf size — up to 3000 mm high and 1400 mm wide — also suits tall villa entrances, where a standard-height door would look undersized against a high hall. The zero-level threshold option removes the step altogether, which matters for wheelchairs, prams and delivery trolleys, and for any building that has to be step-free.
Traffic, heat and sand at the threshold
Leaves up to 200 kg let a tall door carry laminated safety glass without being cut into panels. Uf from 1.4 W/(m²·K) keeps the frame of a big door from acting as a radiator next to a cooled lobby.
A zero-level threshold is the detail to plan in a dusty climate. With no upstand, the seal at the bottom of the leaf and the drainage in front of it do the work, so we set the floor falls and the outside channel at the design stage, especially at an exposed or sea-facing entrance.
AD UP 75 or ADS 70.HI
ADS 70.HI takes leaves up to 2500 mm high, 1250 mm wide and 150 kg, with Uf from 1.7 W/(m²·K) and glazing up to 52 mm. It is the residential entrance door. AD UP 75 is the choice when the leaf gets taller or heavier, when the door has to take heavy use, or when step-free access is required.
AD UP 75 is the Schüco door for entrances that are big, busy or step-free; for an ordinary house door it is more system than needed.
