D77 is the AluK door system for heavy, frequently used leaves. We fabricate AluK profiles to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Entrances, offices and escape routes
At a villa entrance D77 carries a large glazed or panelled leaf; in an office or a shop it takes the daily traffic of a public door; in a double-leaf version it opens a wide passage for furniture and deliveries. The emergency-exit variants are made for escape routes, where the door hardware follows the building's fire and life-safety design.
What the figures mean in practice
A hinge load capacity of 180 kg allows heavy leaves with thick laminated glass, and that margin matters on a tall glazed entrance leaf opened many times a day. The glazing range of 24–52 mm fits a double-glazed unit with solar control, a laminated safety build-up, or both. Air permeability is published as class 3.
Low and automatic thresholds deal with a practical UAE question: a step-free entrance for wheelchairs and trolleys that still has a seal at the bottom of the leaf.
D77 or 70TT
70TT is the lighter AluK door, with leaves up to 900 × 2600 mm and 120 kg and published Uw from 1.93 W/m²K with double glazing. For a residential balcony door it is often enough. D77 is chosen when the leaf is heavier, the door is double, the entrance is public or the threshold has to be low.
D77 is the AluK door for entrances that are heavy, busy or on an escape route.
