A balcony slider is often the widest frame in a flat, and SLINOVA is REHAU's slim-profile answer to it in uPVC. We fabricate REHAU profiles to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Where SLINOVA fits
Apartment balconies, bedroom doors onto a small terrace, and townhouse living rooms where the budget points to uPVC but the owner wants less frame in the view. Triple tracks and six-pane or centre-opening layouts let a wide opening stand open further than a two-pane slider.
What the figures mean for heat, sand and noise
A uPVC frame passes little heat, so in a cooled flat the frame is rarely the problem; the glass is. With glass up to 32 mm, SLINOVA takes a double-glazed unit with a solar-control coating, and the 150 kg sash limit is what we check the glass weight against, panel by panel.
Sound is the modest figure: up to Rw,P 33 dB. That takes the edge off a quiet street but will not silence a highway, and like any sliding door SLINOVA needs its track cleaned after a dusty day.
SLINOVA or SYNEGO SLIDE
SYNEGO SLIDE presses its sash against the frame for an all-round seal, publishes up to Rw 44 dB and burglar resistance up to RC 2, and reaches 4 × 2.6 m. SLINOVA is the slimmer, simpler slider. If the flat faces a road, SYNEGO SLIDE is the one to look at; if the view and a slim frame matter more, SLINOVA.
SLINOVA is the REHAU slider for balconies where a slimmer uPVC frame matters more than high sound insulation.
