A uPVC front door suits a particular brief: an apartment or townhouse entrance where warmth, quiet and a well-sealed door matter more than a slim frame. When a project calls for SYNEGO front doors, we fabricate the profiles to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install them ourselves.
Where a SYNEGO front door fits
Townhouse and apartment entrances, doors from a garage or service yard into the house, and back doors that have to seal and lock well rather than make a statement. RC 2 is a sensible security level for a residential entrance, provided the lock, hinges and any glass are specified to the same class.
Heat, sound and the panel
Uf 1.2 W/(m²K) is the frame value; the door as a whole depends on the panel or glass inside it. The same goes for sound, which the manufacturer ties to the panel choice: a solid insulated panel keeps a corridor or street quieter than a large glazed one.
A visible width of 174 mm makes a solid-looking frame and sash, which reads well on a traditional elevation and less so where the architect wants a thin line. In direct sun we prefer light colours, because a dark uPVC leaf heats up and moves more.
Within the REHAU family
The SYNEGO windows share the 80 mm depth, with Uf up to 0.94 W/(m²K) and burglar resistance up to RC 3, so windows and entrance can come from one family. For a wide exit to a garden, SYNEGO SLIDE and the SYNEGO lift-and-slide doors are the sliding members.
SYNEGO front doors are for entrances where a warm, well-sealed uPVC door is the goal, not a slim or oversized statement door.
