GLS 125 SG is listed in the UAE by Gutmann Middle East LLC, Dubai Investment Park 2. We fabricate it at our Dubai factory to the manufacturer's specification and fit it with our own crews.
Same panel limits as GLS 125
Frame and sash depth, panel size, panel weight, glass thickness, watertightness and air permeability class 4 are published the same for both versions. So GLS 125 SG covers the same openings: wide terrace and balcony doors in villas and apartments with heavy panels that should still move lightly. The supplier's page does not explain what the SG version changes in the build, so we confirm the detail with the supplier when a project calls for it.
What the wind class means
In a wind class such as C4/B5 the number is the test pressure level and the letter is the deflection limit, C being stricter than B. GLS 125 is published at C5/B5, GLS 125 SG at C4/B5. On a low-rise villa that difference rarely decides anything; on a high, exposed floor the facade engineer checks the panel size against the wind load and may point to GLS 125.
Glass up to 42 mm takes solar-control and laminated layers, and the thermal value of the finished door is confirmed by calculation before the order.
GLS 125 SG is a lift-and-slide door with GLS 125 panel limits up to 3000 × 3000 mm and 400 kg, published one wind class lower, chosen when the project calls for the SG version.
