Where Vetro Slide belongs
Openings where the glass is the room's fourth wall: a penthouse living room above the Marina, a beach villa facing the sea, a corner where two glass walls meet and the free-corner option removes the post. Panels up to 3 × 6 m (width × height) mean few joints across the view, and with a visible profile of 22 mm the meeting lines barely register. Pocketing lets the panels disappear into the wall, so the opening is genuinely clear.
What minimal means in heat, sand and wind
Leaves up to 1500 kg are heavy by any measure: beyond a certain size a motorised drive is the practical choice, and the structure has to carry that weight at the track. Watertightness is published as class 7A; on an exposed upper floor we check it against the wind-driven rain that elevation can see.
The concealed bottom track sits below the floor finish, which is exactly where sand collects; it needs drainage designed with the floor and a cleaning routine after dust storms. A thin frame also leaves the heat to the glass: solar-control coatings and laminated panes are chosen by orientation, because on a west-facing wall almost all of the load comes through the glass.
Vetro Slide, HS 80P or Vetro Facade
Vetro Casement HS 80P is the hidden-sash system for windows and hinged doors, with air permeability class 4, watertightness class E1200 and wind load class C5 — tighter classes for exposed elevations. Vetro Facade VF CW 35C is the curtain wall with 35 mm mullions and transoms and glass panels up to 2.8 × 5 m (width × height) for glass that does not need to move. Vetro Slide is for the part of the wall that must open.
