Glass walls in villas and penthouses
COR Vision Plus is made for openings where one sash is a wall: a double-height living room, a penthouse facing the sea, a villa opening onto a pool deck. With the track flush with the floor, the terrace and the room share one level, and pocket and corner versions let the glass slide into a wall or turn a corner without a post.
What its figures mean in heat, sand and wind
Uw from 0.9 W/m²K and a glazing range of 36–56 mm give much more room than COR Vision: triple glazing or a thick laminated solar-control unit fits. At these sizes glass weight rises quickly, which is why sashes above 400 kg are motorised, up to 700 kg.
A flush track is exposed to sand and water from the terrace. We plan the drainage channel outside and access to the running gear before the floor is laid, and on high floors the wind load on a pane this size is calculated for the height.
COR Vision Plus or 4600 Plus
The lift-and-slide 4600 Plus takes sashes up to 3300 × 3500 mm and 400 kg, publishes Uw from 0.65 W/m²K and uses an 80 mm sash with a visible frame. COR Vision Plus goes larger and hides the frame, with a 25 mm junction. COR Vision, the smaller sibling, has a 20 mm junction but glazing of only 26–30 mm.
COR Vision Plus is for very large single panes, where the frame should vanish and the opening justifies a motor.
