In the UAE the Horizon slider is offered by Gutmann Middle East LLC, Dubai Investment Park 2. We fabricate it at our Dubai factory to the manufacturer's specification and install it with our own crew, usually in coordination with the main contractor.
Glass walls with no visible frame
A sea-view living room on the Palm, a penthouse terrace in Downtown, a villa that opens fully onto the pool: this is where Horizon earns its place. Single, double and triple track layouts are available, as well as corner-free solutions where two sliding walls meet without a post and the room opens over the full corner. High-capacity stainless steel rollers and tracks move large panes smoothly and quietly.
SOL or LUNA
SOL takes glass up to 36 mm, enough for a solar-control double-glazed unit, on panels up to 3000 × 4500 mm and 500 kg. LUNA takes glass up to 54 mm on panels up to 3000 × 6500 mm and 1000 kg, which leaves room for laminated, acoustic and solar-control layers in one unit. Panels of that weight are usually moved with the concealed electric motor, which can also drive concealed locks.
The published classes are watertightness E1050, wind class B5 and air permeability class C4. A frame hidden in the floor has to be planned with drainage from the start, because a flush threshold on a sandy terrace takes water and grit first.
Horizon or GLS 180
GLS 180 is a lift-and-slide door with an 80 mm leaf, glass up to 60 mm, sound insulation up to 44 dB, burglar resistance up to RC 2 / WK 2 and wind class C5/B5, but with a visible frame. Take GLS 180 where security, acoustics and a stricter wind class matter more; Horizon where the frame should disappear.
Horizon Minimal Slim Slider is the GUTMANN choice for glass walls up to 6500 mm high with hidden frames and corner-free openings, planned into the structure from the start.
