Wide openings in UAE villas and penthouses are usually glass from floor to ceiling, facing a pool, a garden or the sea. The Next is drawn for that scale. The profile is extruded in Dubai by Gulfex (Gulf Extrusion LLC); we fabricate it to the manufacturer's specification in our Dubai factory and install it ourselves.
Where The Next belongs
Villa living rooms onto a terrace or pool deck, penthouses and sky villas with tall openings, and hotel or restaurant frontages that open to the outside. Sashes up to 3.5 m tall suit tall ground floors and high-ceilinged living rooms, and a third rail lets more of a wide opening stand open at once.
What the figures mean in the UAE
A wind-load resistance of 2000 Pa is the published figure for the system. On a tall building the structural calculation for the actual elevation and floor decides whether a given sash size works, and we run it before the profile is ordered. The 230 kg limit per sash is what lets tall panels carry thicker glass without splitting the opening into narrow leaves.
Uw 1.7 W/m²K is the value the manufacturer states for the window. Glazing depths of 24 and 40 mm mean a sash takes either a standard double-glazed unit or a thicker build-up with laminated or acoustic glass, for a room that faces a road or needs safety glass down to floor level.
The Next, TB105 or The Glide
TB105 is the lighter family member, with sashes up to 2.4 m tall and 180 kg and glazing up to 24 mm. The Glide is the choice when the view comes first: its interlock is 40 mm and the lift-and-slide version moves sashes up to 420 kg. The Next sits between them as the multi-track series with published size, thermal and wind figures.
For tall, wide sliding openings where the specification needs published size, Uw and wind-load figures, The Next is the series in this family to start from.
